A welcome return to the village hall; on Wednesday March 14 for Sedlescombe and District flower club, after missing their February meeting due to snow. Doors are open at 7pm, in anticipation to welcome Trisha Bashford who will be demonstrating under the title “Fragrant Fantasies” from 7.30pm. There is time during the evening to browse the sales table for all your flower arranging needs, to socialise and make new friends, and even buy raffle tickets to win the beautiful finished arrangements.

The main village fayre and flower show taking place on the sports field on Saturday July 21 is also at the planning stage and would like to plead for some strong men, not for me you understand, but to help out on the day of the fayre ! Many hands make light work as they say and with marquees to be erected and dismantled over the weekend, it would be very encouraging to see some additional volunteers this year. If you think you could spare some time to help give the village this special day then please contact Bob on 871415.
If you have an event coming up in the local area or would like to have a small piece, outlining your club or organisation aims, activities, membership etc. then please contact me by email to email@example.com or by calling 870344.
