An employee at Battle holiday destination, Crowhurst Park Lodges, has been awarded a top national tourism award by domestic holiday giant Hoseasons.

Lucie Marsh was crowned Go Active New Instructor of the Year during an awards ceremony at the self-catering accommodation specialist’s annual Go Active Conference, in Somerset.

Recognising Lucie’s commitment to giving Crowhurst’s guests the best possible training and support in a huge range of activities, the award was presented during an evening celebrating the very best of Hoseasons’ Go Active holiday destinations across the UK.

Commenting on the award, Lucie said: “It was a real surprise! I love my job and I put a lot into it, but I never expected to win a national award! There’s nothing better than supporting our guests to have a go at a new activity and then seeing them come back for more – it can really make their holiday!”

“Lucie truly embodies the dedication and enthusiasm we expect from all our staff,” said Mark Warnes, Product Director at Hoseasons.

“She works tirelessly to make sure our guests get the most from their holidays, is always willing to go the extra mile and fully deserves this award.”
