THE Marsh Academy at New Romney is celebrating outstanding A Level results this year.

The Academy, which takes many pupils from Camber and the Rye area, achieved 83% A*-C grades, with 57% at A*-B.

Kirstie Cole, pictured above left, achieved 3 A*s in Health and Social Care alongside English Literature and Sociology, which have ensured her a place at Canterbury Christ Church University to study Primary Education.

Head Girl Amy McDermott, above right, gained 2 A* grades in Health and Social Care, a B in Psychology and a C in English Literature.

Marsh Academy Principal Shaun Simmons commented “I am delighted that the Post-16 results at the academy are continuing to rise. This is a real credit to the whole academy community and some of the individual successes, where students have achieved a number of top grades are remarkable. I am also very proud of how many of our students are going on to future study at university.”
