UPDATE: A21 in John's Cross reopened following bus fire

The A21 in John's Cross has been reopened in both directions between the B2089 junction and the A2100 London Road junction after a single decker bus fire, police have confirmed.

East Sussex Fire and Rescue services confirmed they were called to the scene at 7.15am on Saturday (November 5).

A spokesperson for ESFRS said: “Two breathing apparatus and two hose reels have been used.”

Highways England has confirmed the road is reopen in both directions following recovery and clean-up work.
