Two men charged after Rye attack

Two men have been charged with ABH in connection with an attack on a man in Rye in October last year.

A 42-year-old man was attacked near Landgate in Rye at around 11pm on Thursday, October 24 and suffered deep cuts to his face and right arm. He was also punched and kicked several times. He was treated at the Conquest Hospital.

Ivor Brinkley, 24, unemployed, of South Cliff, Eastbourne and Damien Brinkley, 22, unemployed of New Winchelsea Road, Rye will appear at Lewes Crown Court on February 13.
