A COUNTRY LIVING: Most disappointingly, the concert due to be given by the Marsh Warblers in St Mary’s Church tomorrow evening (Saturday) has had to be cancelled: not enough people had applied for tickets to cover the expected costs. If you’re among those who did apply for tickets, or would like to have been there but, like me, couldn’t manage the date, the Warblers are due to present the same programme in All Saints Church, Woodchurch, on Saturday evening, June 4. It sounds like a really interesting programme: too bad Udimore is missing it!
HAYDN’S CREATION: This fine work will be presented at 7pm tomorrow evening (Saturday) in Winchelsea Church by Winchelsea Singers. Entrance is by programme, on sale at the door for £10, bar available in the interval. An attractive alternative for all of you who are missing the Marsh Warblers: a different style of music, but eminently listenable!
CHURCH SERVICE: In St Mary’s Church this Sunday Sung Family Eucharist will be celebrated at 9.30am, and followed by mid-morning refreshments, probably in the Hall.
