FINE GARDEN OPEN IN PETT: Tomorrow (Saturday) and Sunday, between 11am and 5pm both days, the spectacularly landscaped garden of Fairlight End, Pett, will be open to the public for the National Gardens Scheme. Any of you who have visited this fine garden in previous years can't fail to have been impressed by it and may like to recommend it to others. With a total area of 3 acres, it has a wild flower meadow with mown paths, a large orchard, two natural ponds, herbaceous borders, topiary and a model kitchen garden. Admission costs £4.50, children free. Home-made teas and Pimms available. The garden is in the centre of the village, opposite the Village Hall, where there is plenty of parking space.

CHURCH SERVICES: This Sunday in St Mary’s Church there will be a service of Holy Communion at 8am, Evensong at 6pm.

MOBILE LIBRARY: The library van will be at our Hall between 11.15am and 11.45am on Wednesday, June 29 (not at the half hour later times published in the Parish Magazine).
