UPDATE: One hospitalised after truck hits car in Sedlescombe

One person was injured and taken to hospital after a truck hit a car in Sedlescombe yesterday (Monday, June 27).

South East Coast Ambulance Service sent one ambulance to Church Hill at around 1.30pm after reports of a truck driving into the back of a car.

Paramedics treated one casualty with potential head injuries and was taken to the Conquest Hospital in Hastings.

Beech Farm Road was partially blocked in both directions at Stream Lane until around 4pm, according to BBC Travel.

Anyone who saw what happened is asked to contact collision.appeal@sussex.pnn.police.uk or call 101, quoting serial 768 of 27/06.
