A 79-year-old woman was taken to hospital after a crash involving three cars outside Camber yesterday (Thursday, April 14).

The woman from Charing, Kent, suffered bruising after her red Nissan Juke collided with a parked red Skoda Citigo and flipped onto a white Ford Fiesta, also parked, on New Lydd Road at around 3.20pm.

She was taken by ambulance to the Conquest Hospital, St Leonards, where she was detained for observation.

The road was closed for two hours while emergency services were at the scene.
