SW CONSTRUCTION: Jim Ray and I had a liaison meeting with MGjv, the contractors, and Southern Water yesterday (Thursday 24th). I’ll report anything of interest next week.
MOUNTFIELD VILLAGE HALL BIG SCREEN SOCIAL NIGHTS: A final reminder about Eddie the Eagle tonight, November 25th, with refreshments and plenty of time for socialising. Doors open at 7.30 pm and there is a suggested donation of £5.00 per person towards the upkeep of the hall. All welcome.
CHILDREN’S CHRISTMAS PARTY: This year’s party will take place on Saturday December 10th in the Village Hall from 4.00 till 6.00 and will be run by DNA Kids who are THE kids party specialists. Oh, and there will be a special visitor at the end of the party… The event is open to all Mountfield children of primary school age or under. As ever, the grandchildren of anyone living in the parish are welcome in return for a small contribution. Please can they email Mountfieldxmasparty@gmail.com or ring 01580 882147 to book places for an event that will stay with them for the rest of their lives.
SOTTO VOCE: This week’s Village Voice is short and sweet. We are not sure if this is because everything is quieter when we go away on holiday for a couple of weeks. If so, we will always do what we can to help but there are financial constraints.
CONTACT: If you have anything for the Village Voice, we can be contacted on 880614 or via email@example.com. We always welcome contributions and feedback.
