Harvest Home: More than £2,000 was raised at this successful event, held on Saturday October 1 2016 at The New Beach Club, Pett Level.

Church services: On Sunday October 9, Harvest Festival, St Mary & St Peter, Pett at 9:30am. Tea and coffee will be served at the end of the service and there will be an auction of all the perishable produce with the proceeds going to Farm Africa. The non-perishable items will be donated to Family Support Work. There is a Sunday service at Pett Methodist Church at 10:45am.

Pett Older People’s Project: POPP on Tuesday October 11 will feature Field Stone Boys, a skiffle group. The session runs from 10:30am to 2:00pm and will include a two-course lunch for just £5.

Pett Gardening Club: Also on Tuesday October 11 Pett Gardening Club will be holding a meeting in Pett Village Hall. There will be a talk on The Winter Garden by David Fitton, which will include practical ways to enhance your garden’s winter features. The meeting starts at 7:30pm and visitors are always welcome at £3 per meeting.

PVH 500 Club: From the Wednesday November 2 draw, Pett Village Hall 500 Club will increase the number of draw prizes from 2 to 6 every month! This will increase the chances to win from 24 to 72 every year.

The revenue from the 500 Club collected every month will still be divided 50-50. 50% will go to the Village Hall funds and 50% to the prize fund. The new prize structure will consist of 4 prizes of £12 each and the remainder will be divided 60/40 for the 2 larger prizes.
