Pett Parish Council: At the meeting held on Tuesday November 15, a new councillor, Steve Taylor was co-opted onto the Council. This meant that County Councillor Carl Maynard stepped down but there are still three vacancies on the Council should anyone wish to consider making a contribution to the village.
There was an update on the situation regarding the Recreation Ground and the problem of foul water and Pettnet is now live again and will feature Council minutes.
Church Services: On Sunday November 27 – Holy Communion, St Mary & St Peter, Pett at 9:30am. There will be a Sunday Service at the Methodist Chapel at 10:45am.
Village Voices: On Monday November 28 the Village Choir will meet at Pett Methodist Chapel at 7:30pm.
Pett Older People’s Project: POPP on Tuesday November 29 will feature Keith Osbourne with Music for Health. The session runs from 10:30am to 2:00pm and will include a two-course lunch for just £5.
Christmas Fair: On Saturday December 10 Friends of Pett Church will be holding their annual Christmas Fair at Pett Village Hall from 10am to 12 noon. There will be stalls, crafts, Christmas goodies, raffles and refreshments, games and much more. And if that was not enough, the Village Choir will be there singing carols!
