On the buses: News on the bus service 5 that takes in Sandhurst will not come to Sandhurst. Kent County Council says that it will stop the Maidstone to Hawkhurst service o a Sunday and will just go too Cranbrook. It would be good to know how many pounds the council will save on the Sunday Service.

Church service: Contemporary Worship Praise service will take place on Sunday February 26 at 5pm at Sandhurst Mission Church. Vicky Young will take the service. Holy Communion takes place every Tuesday at 10am in the Mission Church.

Pancake Race: The village is to have a pancake race on February 28 at the Lower Green at 10.30am. All ages welcome and don’t forget your frying pan.

Baptist Church: services for this week are Morning Worship/Communion at 10.30 and evening meeting at 7pm on March 5th
