ADVENT FAIR: The advent fair was a great success last Saturday in the village hall, there were lots of visitors and it was so nice to see everyone there catching up with friends and neighbours. We went along and joined in, enjoying the home made soup for lunch and then tea in the afternoon. There were lots of stalls to buy from or play games at, with plenty of friendly volunteers manning them making the afternoon very enjoyable. My daughter was especially pleased with the event as she was lucky enough to win the first prize in the Draw donated by Pump House Designs, a big thank you to them and all the other businesses that donated the fabulous prizes! Lots of work before, on and after the day goes on and I’m sure the village appreciates all this effort to give the village this traditional annual event.

A special thank you to Father Christmas who turned especially to see everyone, young and old, let’s hope he has noted down all those special requests for the magic day on the 25th December.
