PARISH CHURCH NEWS: Whatlington church’s service for the last Sunday in February will be at 9.30 am, a service of Holy Communion with our Vicar, Kevin Mepham.

FILM CLUB: Bridget Jones’s Baby proved a very popular choice with the audience last week at the Royal Oak. Everyone enjoyed the feel good film and shared her trials and tribulations along the way.

HOSPICE QUIZ AT THE ROYAL OAK: Several teams competed for the honour of winning the hospice quiz. Questions based on 1987 to mark the 30th anniversary of the hospice were tackled enthusiastically and with good humour – who knew so much happened in 1987. A very enjoyable evening which helped raise funds for a very worthwhile cause - St Michael’s hospice
