WORLD'S Biggest Coffee Morning: Westfield residents took part in the World's Biggest Coffee Morning at 'The Old Courthouse' last Friday in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. The cakes were delicious! Thank you to Andy and Lynne at the pub for arranging this annual event.
LAST weekend, young and old alike enjoyed last Saturday's Barn Dance arranged by the Friends of Westfield Church, and went home tired but very happy after a great evening with 'The Reel Thing' Barn Dance Band.
On Sunday the Harvest Festival Family Service (part of 'Back to Church Sunday') was well supported.
The church was beautifully decorated, and harvest gifts offered during the service were later donated to the Seaview Project. The service was followed by a lovely Harvest Lunch in the Parish Hall.
TODAY (Friday) the mobile library visits as usual. And don't forget that tonight (Friday) is Curry Night at 'The Old Courthouse' - enjoy your choice of curry with the usual accompaniments.
CRAFT MORNING: All 11 to 16-year-olds are invited to take part in the craft activity morning (Saturday) tomorrow at the Parish Hall from 10am to noon. Come and try your hand at crafts such as pyrography, pizza making, bead work, knitting, and encaustic art.
WESTFIELD PARISH CHURCH services on Sunday are Holy Communion (1662) at 8am, Nine Thirty Start at 9.30am and Parish Eucharist at 10.30am.
