HELLO: a beautiful bright sunny start to the week with all the daffodils in bloom promises spring is round the corner. Another quiet news week in the village so please can you all let me have details of events around the parish so we can keep everyone fully informed.
WHATLINGTON PAST: A packed barn at the Royal Oak enjoyed looking at the history of the village during the war years led by Ian Cheverells. I am sure everyone was fascinated by life in the village then and got a real feel for how village life used to be.
PARISH CHURCH NEWS: Next Sunday is Palm Sunday and the service at Whatlington will be a Parish Communion at 09.30. Looking forward to Easter, on Good Friday there will be a service at 5pm, this will be hymns and readings to remember the crucifixion. On Easter Sunday the service will be at 09.30 with communion and followed with refreshments.
