PARISH CHURCH NEWS: At Whatlington Parish church on Sunday 22nd May, as part of our series of monthly evening services during the summer months there will be a special ‘Songs of Praise’. The theme for the service will be Spring, the season of new life, so evident in the countryside and in our gardens at this time of year. We will have six well known hymns, interspersed with a mixture of readings, both from the Bible and from poetry, such as Kipling’s ‘The Glory of the Garden’.
