Tomorrow evening (Saturday) there will be a Diamond Jubilee Dance for the “young at heart” playing 60’s music.

This will held be in the Community Hall on Saturday 2nd June from 8.30 till 11 pm. There is a dress theme of red, white and blue but it’s not essential and all are welcome. You will need to bring your own drinks and glasses and a raffle will be available. The tickets are £10 per person which includes a fish and chip supper (contact 01797 224820 to reserve a place).

There will be no service at St Richard’s this Sunday but note in your diary that St Richard’s Day which will be observed on Sunday 17th June. A Choral Evensong will be held in St Richard’s at 4 pm which will be followed by a variety of refreshments.

Rye Harbour Nature Reserve has organised a visit to Rye Harbour to look at Coastal Plants. This is an opportunity to find out how the Reserve’s plants cope with their environment within a 2 mile walk. You will need to meet at Rye Harbour car park on Saturday 9th June at 10.30 am finishing at 12.30 pm. The event is free but donations would be appreciated.

The Mums & Toddlers Group continues on Tuesdays from 12.30 to 2.30 pm throughout term time in the Community Hall. If you are a mum with a young child and would like to find out more the number to contact is 07817 962680.
