It is not very often that I can say I admire a politician, but I think that Huw Merriman has put our PM to shame.
He has conducted his referendum debates with total impartiality to the extent of not declaring his views till after the vote. What a pity the PM could not have done this.
I understood that we were to be given a free vote, but I was sent a folder paid for out of my taxes telling me the dangers of voting out. Not advice, which is what I needed. I of course sent this back to him with a note giving my opinion of his actions.
