Battle Town
Council vacancy

Following the resignation of Marie-Louise Neill Battle Town Council is seeking to fill a vacancy.

In these challenging times it is important that council can speak with authority on behalf of residents so this is an opportunity to play a full part in planning the town’s future.

Not only does the town council provide a range of services, including recreation facilities, allotments, street lighting and the cemetery, it works closely with other statutory bodies and local organisations.

As such it has an important role in discussing key issues affecting the town such as the identification of potential new housing and business sites, the development of tourism potential, crime and disorder and the continuing problems of traffic and parking.
