May I thank and congratulate all those local residents who '˜Marched for Europe' on Saturday in London.

I am proud that the Liberal Democrats were the only political party unified in their commitment and out with their placards.

We realise that, at the moment, Labour is besotted by its own issues, and the Conservatives riven between appeasing UKIP or their City bankrollers.

We work on, waiting patiently for the electorate’s call.
