A 91-YEAR-OLD woman from Bexhill, who died in a car crash on the A21 on Boxing Day, has been named.
Rosalie Richard, of De la Warr Parade, Bexhill, died when the vehicle she was travelling in collided with another car on the stretch of road at John's Cross, near Robertsbridge.
She was a passenger in a red Citroen Saxo which was being driven southbound by a 60-year-old woman, also from Bexhill, when it was in collision with a black VW Golf shortly before 4.30pm.
The Saxo driver and two passengers, a 23-year-old woman and a five-year-old boy from Surrey were seriously injured. They were all taken to the Conquest Hospital, Hastings.
The driver of the Golf, a 48-year-old man from London, and his 45-year-old woman passenger also from London both received minor injuries and were also treated at the Conquest.
Police closed the road for just over four hours to allow rescue, recovery and investigation work to take place.
