Driver seriously hurt in A21 Hurst Green crash

A motorist remains seriously injured in hospital this evening (Wednesday) following an early morning crash on the A21 at Hurst Green.

The man was driving a Fiat car which collided with a DAF truck before then colliding with a Vauxhall car just before 7.15am.

Police, ambulance and fire crews raced to the scene to help those involved in the accident.

The man was taken to the Conquest Hospital in Hastings.

The road was closed for several hours this morning.

Police are appealing for witnesses to contact Polegate Roads Policing Unit on 0845 60 70 999.
