EDDIE Izzard made a special appearance at the De La Warr Pavilion on Saturday night, performing his one man stand up show to the delight of an audience of around 1,000 people - which included his father John Izzard.
Tickets for the event sold out within two days of going on sale and a spokesperson for the De La Warr said Eddies show, "went really well, and he ran over time - but of course no one minded that", adding, "Eddie was brilliant".

Eddie, who grew up locally, recently completed a tour of the USA and will shortly be starring in the West End in his show called 'Stripped'.
