Two neighbouring gardens at Laurel Lane, in Icklesham, were enjoyed by visitors on Tuesday when they took part in the St Michael's Hospice Open Gardens Scheme.
The garden at Knockbridge House contained a number of mature shrubs, including azaleas, camelias and magnolia as box hedges.
Angela and Peter Fletcher opened the half acre garden at adjoining Knockbridge Farmhouse, which has lawns, mixed borders, climbing roses and woodland camelias.
Refreshments, including ploughman's lunches, were available.
Superb weather ensured the gardens were packed.
