Here is an update of recently reported crimes in the Rye area.
A THIRSTY thief stole six two litre bottles of milk from a doorstep at Lion Street, in Rye, after they had been delivered last Thursday morning.
The theft took place between 5.30am and 7am.

GRAFFITI was daubed on a pumping station in a field at Station Road, Winchelsea, at the weekend.
The graffiti appeared between 7.30am on Sunday and 9.30am on Monday.

POLICE are investigating an attempted burglary at a house in Kitchenour Lane, Iden.
Damage was caused to the exterior of the house between 4pm on Sunday and 9.50am on Monday.

A HONDA off-road motorcycle was stolen from Church Lane, at Guestling.
At the same time there was an attempt to steal a ride-on lawn mower at Guestling Scout Hut.
The theft took place between Monday August 18 and Friday 22.
