Rye Sports Centre is holding a number of events to coincide with the Olympic Games.
Throughout August various Olympic style challenges will be extended to members of the public, such as the chance to participate in a 2000m rowing session, a 1500m run on the treadmill and a 100m freestyle dash in the pool.

Rye Sports Centre operators Freedom Leisure have also announced a special taster offer of two weeks gym and fitness membership for £20.

Freedom Leisure spokesperson Eugene Roberts said: "These two weeks can be used to set and achieve new goals alongside existing members.
"The experienced fitness teams will be encouraging everyone to achieve a new 'personal best."
