Here is an update of recent reported crimes in the Rye area
A THIEF stole a jewellery box from a home in Camber after reaching through an open window.
The theft took place at Sea Road, overnight on Tuesday July 1.
VANDALS smashed a number of windows at Rye's Freda Gardham School last week.
The damage took place overnight on Tuesday July 1.
THE occupants of a silver Ford Car drove along Houghton Green Lane, at Playden, smashing the windows of other cars as they went by.
The incident took place at around 10.25pmon Wednesday July 2.
WATER damage was caused to a house in Landgate Rye after someone pushed a hosepipe through the letterbox on the evening of Wednesday Jul 2.
A 'Brian James' 2600 trailer, suitable for car transportation, was stolen from Winchelsea Road, Rye last week.
The theft took place between 10pm on Monday July 1 and 6am on Tuesday 2.
