Children and Parents brought their bikes along to Rye's Tilling Green on Saturday to take advantage of a Security Marking Day.
The event was held by Rye Police Community Support Officers Dan Bevan and Ruth Brunton.
It follows another successful bike marking event at Freda Gardham School earlier this year.
Dand nad Ruth were on hand to help mark bikes and give advice.
More than 60 bikes were marked and lots of information given out.
Dan Bevan said: "The day was a great success, we arrived before 10am and there were already children waiting.
"The weather was really hot, and Ruth and I were kept busy.
"We had lots of parents and children bring their bikes along to be marked, and to get free locks and flashing blinkys and key rings.
"We even had an elderly gentleman from nearby come along and ask for his mobility scooter to be marked!
"We would like to thank, Sammy and Roger from the shops on Tilling Green for helping advertise the event, and the schools for allowing us to put up posters and leaflets.
"If you are interested in getting your bike marked and have missed one of our marking events, don't worry you can pop into Rye Police Station and ask for Dan or Ruth or call 0845 6070999 ext 66310 and arrange for your bike to be marked."
