The tug of war competition, sponsored by The Chequers Inn of Battle, is being held mid-way through the fayre and will consist of teams of eight, pulling their way to victory.
In addition, there will be numerous stalls including craft, plant, face painting, food and strawberries and cream stalls.

The recently published book, titled 400 Hundred and Still Burning, written by M A Hoad, detailing the history of the Battle Bonfire and the Bonfire Boyes, will also be on sale.
Limited signed copies will also be available.
There will also be the opportunity for visitors to put their names down for marshalling duties on this year's Battle Bonfire night on Saturday November 1 and the planned fun run on Sunday October 5.
Free entry and on-field parking is available, but donations are welcome.
The event is being staged as part of the annual fundraising campaign to raise the £12,000 needed to put on the Battle Bonfire Night celebrations.
At last year's Bonfire Night, more than £5,800 was collected from the procession's street collection, all of which was donated to local causes and worthy charities.
Tomorrow (Saturday) a donation of £200 will be presented to the Rother Guide Dog Association, which will also have a stall at the fayre.
There is still time to enter the event and anyone who would like a pitch should e-mail Battel Bonfire Boyes on battlebonfire.fundraising@hotmail.com or ring Simon on 07976 254247.
