News from Sedlescombe
MEMBERS of the Sedlescombe and District Garden Society are reminded that the last meeting of the year will be held in Sedlescombe village hall at 2pm on Tuesday, December 4.
The speaker is Andy Jesson, head gardener at Sheffield Park, and the subject will be 'Spring Colour at Sheffield Park'.
Visitors are welcome and, as it is near Christmas, all present will be invited to take a glass of wine and a mince pie with the chairman.

SEDLESCOMBE School's Christmas Fayre will take place tomorrow (Saturday) between noon and 3pm. There will be a grand draw with a first prize of £100, Santa's grotto, lucky dip, hampers to be won, tombolas, refreshments and plenty more stalls.

THE Friends of the Church Heritage Trust holds its annual general meeting on Tuesday, November 27, at Asselton House, The Green starting at 7pm.
All members are invited and welcome to attend, following the meeting there will be refreshments and a light supper.

ON FRIDAY, December 7, there will be a Hunger Lunch - in aid of Surviving Christmas, YMCA Hastings - at 2 Forge Cottages, The Green, Sedlescombe, running from noon to 2pm.
A bowl of homemade soup and bread will be on sale for £3, while there will also be a raffle and bring and buy sale.
Please support this event to help those less fortunate than yourself this Christmas.
