George Campbell will continue as Hastings Priory captain in 2013

George Campbell is carrying on as skipper of Hastings Priory Cricket Club during the 2013 season.

John Morgan will continue to manage the team while Campbell is away teaching during the first half of the campaign. Campbell led Priory to a third place finish in the Sussex Cricket League during his maiden term in office last summer.

Ian Gillespie has been re-elected as chairman and second team captain. Priory have also handed out their awards for the 2012 season and Josh Poysden was first team player of the year.

Award winners: 1st XI player of the year Josh Poysden; supporters’ club player of the year (new award) Kirk Wernars; 2nd XI player of the year Jack Coleman; 3rd XI player of the year Joe Lovell & Reuben Collingwood; 4th XI player of the year Sam Hobbs; midweek player of the year Rob Noble; ladies’ player of the year Megan Janman; young player of the year Jed O’Brien; all-rounder of the year Finn Hulbert; outstanding performance Tim Eldridge; achievement Harry Finch (for his England u19 call-up); services award Becky Armstrong.
