Bexhill United’s Sussex RUR Charity Cup third round clash against Broadbridge Heath will take place at The Polegrove next Tuesday.
The all-Sussex County Football League Division Two clash was due to have taken place at Broadbridge Heath, but two postponements at their ground in Horsham have resulted in the venue being switched.
The match was originally scheduled for Saturday November 24 only to be postponed due to a waterlogged pitch. It was then re-arranged for last night (Tuesday), but this time fell victim to a frozen surface.
That was due to have been Bexhill’s fourth midweek trip into West Sussex this season so they will be glad that a team has to make a long journey to them rather than the other way round.
Heath are third in the league with 31 points from 16 games, while Bexhill are two points and three places worse off having played two games less. The sides drew 1-1 in their league meeting at Heath in late September.
