The final of the Hastings & District FA Intermediate Cup will be contested by Ninfield United and Bexhill United II at Westfield FC tonight (Thursday), kick-off 6.30pm.

ADA East Sussex Football League Premier Division side Ninfield defeated Little Common II, from Sussex County Football League Reserve Section (East), 4-0 in one of the two semi-finals played on Saturday.

Mark Freeman gave Ninfield a half time lead with a 25-yard stunner before Chris Storrs doubled their advantage with a header. Dave Carey nabbed a third and Darren Witham completed the tally direct from a free kick.

The tables were turned in the other last four tie as Sussex Reserve Section (East) team Bexhill edged out East Sussex Premier Division club Ticehurst 2-1.

Bexhill were 2-0 ahead after 45 minutes and looking comfortable thanks to a Toby Smith double. Rob Guile pulled one back with 10 minutes left to make the game interesting, but Ticehurst could not force an equaliser.
