The Sussex County League Division One leaders booked their place in the last four of the Sussex RUR Charity Cup with a 4-2 win at home to Oakwood on Saturday.

Elsewhere it was a bad weekend for the area’s Sussex League clubs. Sidley United lost 2-1 away to Worthing United in Division One despite taking the lead through Allan McMinigal on his return to the club.

Little Common’s run of three consecutive wins and clean sheets in the same division came to an end with a 2-1 loss away to Rustington. Anthony Cooper scored Common’s goal.
