Hastings United Football Club is running a special promotion to find a new main sponsor for next season.

After nearly two years of generous support, for which the club has been extremely grateful, Green Insurance Group’s time as United’s main sponsor has come to an end.

Interested parties, be they companies, associations or individuals, are invited to make a one-off sponsorship contribution in the form of a ticket that will enter them into a draw, from which the new main sponsor will be randomly selected. The cost of each ticket will be £100 plus VAT.

Benefits to new main sponsor will include the company or association’s name featuring on the front of the first team’s home and away kits, as well as on first team tracksuits, a full page advertisement in matchday programmes, six season tickets (which will also allow entry to the directors’ box

during league games, as well as boardroom hospitality), a prominent link to the winner’s website from the club’s official website, the winner’s name being displayed as the club’s main sponsor on the fascia boards outside The Pilot Field, and complimentary matchday programmes at each game.

Press and radio coverage will be sought to announce the sponsorship deal and the club will acknowledge the main sponsor in any media activity possible. The club will provide space for four advertising boards around the perimeter fencing at The Pilot Field, although the winner is responsible for the cost of making the boards.

The runner-up in the draw will be named the club’s new associate sponsor. Its benefits will include the company or association name featuring on the back of the first team’s home and away kits, as well as on the fascia boards outside The Pilot Field, four season tickets (which include entry to the directors’ box during league games and boardroom hospitality), and a prominent link to its website from the club’s own official website.

All participants in the draw will receive a guaranteed benefit in the form of advertising or sponsorship via one of the following packages available from the club: company day (value £190), ballboys/ballgirls sponsorship (value £125), matchday ball sponsorship (value £50), mascot package (value £50).

The main sponsor draw will take place during a home pre-season friendly to be announced. For further details on any of the above or to request a copy of United’s sponsorship brochure, contact club chairman Dave Walters on 07970 165102.
