Today’s football washed away

All of today's senior football has been called-off

All of today's senior football has been called-off

All of today’s football matches involving the area’s senior clubs have unsurprisingly been postponed.

The chief victim of the incredibly wet weather is Hastings United’s game at home to Harrow Borough in the Ryman League Premier Division.

It’s already looking like being a busy second half of the season for United because even before today’s call-off, the U’s are due to have midweek matches every week until the end of February.

Supporters wishing to buy tickets for the FA Cup third round tie away to Middlesbrough on Saturday January 5 can still do so from The Pilot Field’s clubhouse from 1-2pm.

Also off are the Sussex County League Division One fixtures between Peacehaven & Telscombe and Rye United, and Sidley United and St Francis Rangers, plus the Division Two games involving Bexhill United and Seaford Town, Little Common and Eastbourne United AFC, and Mile Oak and Westfield.
