Rye United’s FA Vase third round tie at home to South Park has been called-off for the second successive weekend.

A waterlogged pitch at The Salts was again the problem following all the rain of the past 24 hours. The tie has now been rearranged for Tuesday night with a 7.45pm kick-off.

An attractive clash at home to Guernsey in the last 32 of the national competition is at stake for Sussex County League high-flyers Rye and Combined Counties League outfit South Park, from Reigate.

Westfield’s game at home to Steyning Town in Sussex County League Division Two has been postponed, as has Sidley United’s scheduled visit from Ringmer in Division One.

Hastings United have tweeted to say that they are not aware of any planned pitch inspection for their Ryman League Premier Division match at Thurrock today (Saturday) so expect it to go ahead.
