Saxons return to winning ways
South Saxons Hockey Club put back-to-back draws behind them with a 4-0 win at home to Crowborough on Saturday.
Alex Coombes opening the scoring with a reverse stick shot, George Eldridge made it two and Jamie Busbridge made it 3-0 at half time with a neat lob after intercepting a defensive pass.
Saxons went 4-0 up five minutes into the second half through a neat well-worked short corner in which George Eldridge's drag flick was slotted home by Busbridge.
A full report will appear in Friday's Hastings Observer.
