SIDLEY were on the receiving end of a stunning batting display away to Pulborough in the Sussex Division Two Cricket League.

Playing their first game of the summer due to the bad weather, Sidley lost by a massive 155 runs on Saturday.

Most of the damage was done by Pulborough skipper Rohit Jagota who carried his bat for a superb 202 not out off only 128 balls. His innings included 14 fours and 14 sixes.

The home side posted a daunting 284-2 and in reply, Sidley were dismissed for 129. Top scorer was captain John Haffenden with 32, while Kuldeep Rawat took 6-35.
