A CLASSICAL composer will be playing samples of his new unpublished works later this month.
Polo Piatti is composer-in-residence at St Mary-in-the-Castle throughout July.
During this time, he will be giving a unique demonstration and talk about both his recently released orchestral suite The Tides Of Time, which was inspired by the history of Hastings and the south coast, and also about his highly anticipated new orchestral work The Impossible Pieces.
And on July 16, from 7pm, there will be a rare opportunity to see him at work on his new composition.
Not only will he be explaining the process of composing an orchestral score from its very beginnings to the final product, but he will also play samples of his new and as yet unpublished works on the piano.
Tickets are £7 (concessions £4) and are now available at the venue’s cafe and at the box office on the day.
