Liane Carroll will be performing at The Greatest Gift, a Christmas celebration at King’s Church on The Ridge, on Sunday (December 15).
The family-friendly celebration will feature traditional carols, contemporary music and performances by Liane, followed by mulled wine and festive refreshments.
At the 4.30pm service, there will be a performance by local children and a reading by local MP Amber Rudd; while at the 7pm service there will be an extra song by Liane, and a reading by local Chief Inspector Paul Phelps.
Church leader Paul Mann said: “Last year’s carols service here at King’s attracted around 900 people across the two services, and this year we are expecting even more to come along to see Liane and enjoy our newly refurbished facilities.
“It’s also a great opportunity to raise money for the local charity we’re supporting this year, the Seaview Project.
“We love this time of year and especially welcoming so many guests to celebrate Christmas with us!”
The hour-long event is free, but there will be an opportunity to give to the Seaview Project as you leave.
