Dancing until dusk in Whatlington

Join with the villagers of Whatlington and Bodiam Concert Band for a musical melange of songs from the shows and some latin rhythms with a chance to dance. This outdoor community event will be held on May 28 with the Bodiam Concert Band providing some wonderful music into the night, from South American tango music to get the dramatic moves going to Dancing Queen by Abba to ramp up the disco vibe.

Concert goers are invited to bring their own feast, drinks, rugs etc as the event will be held on the field behind the Village Hall. The gates are open from 6.45pm with the music starting at 7pm. Given our English weather its advised to bring warm clothing.

The evening is a fundraiser for the village hall and its continuing refurbishment. Whatlington is just off the A21 - if coming from Hastings direction turn left at the Royal Oak and follow the lane to the bottom of the hill.

Tickets cost £25 four four people including Gazebo or £5 per person in the open. Children will get free entry. Tickets available from Annette McBride on 01424 871629.
