Hastings Big Choir sing out in Battle

Tomrrow (Saturday July 16) sees Battle's Emmanuel Centre in Harrier Lane present a special summer concert featuring Hastings Big Choir fresh from success at the Proms in the Park.

A celebration of Queen, country and community, this will be the venue’s biggest musical event yet, providing a joyous “wall of sound” from up to 150 voices led by Roger Wilcock.

The evening will feature a mixed programme of show and popular songs and finish with a flag-waving finale including Rule Britannia, Land of Hope and Glory and Jerusalem.

The in-house high-tec audio visual facilities will be used to further enhance what is sure to be spectacular family event which starts at 7pm.

Strawberries and fizz will be served on the terrace in the interval included in the advance ticket price of £6 and proceeds will go towards the community work of the Emmanuel Centre. Advance booking is strongly advised as, because of the size of the choir, seating will be limited.
