Frank joined the legendary John Dankworth Seven sharing vocals with Dame Cleo Laine, and has established himself as one of our best ever jazz singers - also arguably never bettered in the art of ‘scatting’.

Ex-Nucleus pianist Geoff Castle was a member of Ronnie Scott’s Quintet in 1979 and has appeared at the club many times. He has played with Frank for over fifteen years with ‘Paz’ and ‘Castle, Frank ‘n Stan’ with Stan Robinson. Widely recognised for his full-toned delivery, agile technique and harmonic detail, Stan Robinson’s style reflects the influence of several leading American jazzmen, including Sonny Rollins and Joe Henderson.

Doors open 7.45pm. Disabled access. Tickets £10. Further info on 01424 250221 or www.jazzhastings.co.uk
