Little Common WI - April 25

SHEILA ROSKILLY welcomed everyone to the April meeting, as Pauline Rosner was unwell. Many cards were received after last month's special meeting. Also flowers from MP Greg Barker and some were given to Betty Small and Joan Little.

Secretary Wendy Milne had a number of activity dates for our diaries, one being an outing to The Royal Hospital Chelsea.

Hilary Rhodes gave an interesting report of the annual council meeting held in Eastbourne, with good news of there being six new WI groups in East Sussex.

President Pauline Rosner was presented with two certificates for our fiftieth celebration.

One special speaker at the meeting was Bonnie Campione (who happens to be Stewart Granger's niece).

She is well known on the Antiques Road Show and gave a lot of insight of this popular programme.

On being introduced, guest speaker Mr Paul Hellyer, said people know him as the local dentist.
