Movie and special event of Remembrance at the Kino
The Kino Teatr in St Leonards is hosting a one-off event in remembrance of the brave souls who have fought and died in conflict.
Acts of Remembrance takes place on Sunday (November 6) at 5pm.
The sold-out event includes a screening of Return of the Liberators directed by Janet Hodgson), a documentary about the antics, camaraderie and acts of remembrance of a London Black Cab charity road trip to The Netherlands with 120 World War II veterans.
After the screening, everyone is invited to join some of the veterans – and cabbies - who appear in the film around the piano for some wartime songs and cockney favourites.
