New organ concert season to begin

The prestigious series of organ concerts played on the Father Willis organ in All Saints Church in Hastings Old Town begins on Monday July 11.

There will be eight concerts played by Cathedral organists or international performers, so audiences can expect that the music will be beautifully performed.

The first concert will be by Daniel Cook, sub-organist at Westminster Abbey. Prior to his appointment at the Abbey Daniel was organist and Master of the Choristers of St Davids Cathedral and Artistic Director of the St Davids Cathedral Festival. Under his direction the Cathedral Choir made several broadcasts and recordings for BBC Radio and Television, toured in Italy and performed with the BBC singers in the City of London Festival.
