This promises to be a musical feast to end this year’s 10th Anniversary Music Festival, promised organiser Tony Mansi, who said: “In our Queen’s 90th birthday year, this is a unique opportunity for the community of Bexhill and Rother to come together to celebrate some of our country’s patriotic music. Free Union flags will be provided. There are still a few tickets remaining, so come along and support this charity event, the proceeds of which will fund next year’s Festival of Music.

There have been over 40 events taking place all around Bexhill, in churches, church Halls, cafés, clubs and theatres. The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra returned for yet another near sell-out event for the fourth year running. We sincerely hope that this will now be a permanent fixture in the Festival diary.

“Adam Hepkin’s Magic of the Musicals also filled the De La Warr Pavilion for the third year running and has become one of the highlights of the Festival.

Local choirs have been a major feature this year including Mad Fish, Waits and Measures, Rother Community Choir, The Christchurch Singers, The Melodians, St Peter’s Choir, Jacs, Quintasia, Voice Prints, The Eversley Road Singers, and The Treble Clefs.

“Thank you to everyone for their contributions in order to make our 10th Anniversary another successful year. Plans are already in place for 2017.”
